Our environmental practice is based on our senior staff and their long-term engagement in developing investigation and remediation strategies for contaminated sites. Many contaminated sites, especially those regulated by complex requirements or with challenging contamination issues, can require years to bring to closure. Our staff have been involved in some of the region’s most complex investigation and remediation projects for more than a decade because our clients trust our work and expertise in strategy development, remedial investigation/ feasibility studies, Superfund cleanup, fate and transport modeling, remedial design, and regulatory permitting.
In addition to these long-term projects, we often are sought by clients to quickly address less complex project needs to support property development or transfer. Several of our personnel have worked with regulators to develop policy and regulations related to upland and sediment cleanup, and we are well known and respected by Northwest regulators. Using these relationships, process knowledge, and technical expertise we help our clients turn their environmental liabilities into assets.
