More than ever, strategic water resource management and conservation are necessary to ensure access to adequate water supplies in the future. GSI’s water resource consultants help our clients evaluate their existing water supply management and use, and provide expert guidance for short and long term planning efforts, with the help of our expert modelers and GIS specialists. We provide creative strategies for establishing reliable, long-term water supplies based on anticipated future demand through water rights master planning and conservation planning, including preparing Oregon Water Resource Department-approved Water Management and Conservation Plans (WMCPs). We help protect water rights and address technical issues related to injury claims, well interference disputes, “same aquifer” questions, surface water interference issues, well construction issues, and aquifer water level decline issues. Our consultants have in-depth knowledge of OWRD’s requirements and they work closely with clients to develop strategic plans to meet the clients’ current and future needs and that comply with requirements.
