Dave has more than two decades of experience in water resources engineering and environmental consulting in Texas, California, and the Midwest. He focuses on groundwater services and groundwater modeling, and also is experienced in surface water hydrology and hydraulic modeling, and engineering analysis. His expertise includes regional groundwater modeling for water supply evaluation, groundwater/surface water interaction, basin analysis, aquifer characterization, yield analysis, aquifer storage and recovery (ASR), collector well yield analysis, wellfield design, construction dewatering, and all aspects of hydrogeologic field investigations.
Before joining GSI in early 2017, Dave worked on various projects in Texas during the development of a groundwater regulatory framework in that state—the approximate equivalent of California’s Sustainable Groundwater Management Act (SGMA). In Texas, he worked for private, industrial, municipal, and governmental clients in all aspects of groundwater projects, regional water supply planning, and regulatory interaction.
