Dave has assisted clients with regulatory and technical challenges related to environmental contamination, compliance, and water resources for three decades. He is a recognized expert in technical matters related to groundwater supply and contamination.
Dave is knowledgeable about the groundwater conditions in Oregon’s coastal aquifers, the Willamette Valley, Columbia Basin, and Puget Sound area. Throughout his career, he has applied his skills to develop technical solutions that meet business, legal, and policy objectives. His work frequently requires presenting technical concepts to regulatory and public audiences. Dave also provides technical expertise to support permitting and litigation.
Since 2002, Dave has worked on several large US EPA Superfund sites and numerous state cleanup sites. His recent Superfund project experience includes evaluation of the impacts of stormwater discharges on water and sediment quality in the lower Willamette River, Oregon. He also has designed and implemented large groundwater cleanup projects using in-situ thermal and biological technologies to eliminate subsurface contaminants.
