Jim has more than 25 years of experience in hazardous substance investigations and cleanup sites, including at the Portland Harbor Superfund Site. His background is in geology and groundwater hydrology, and for many years he worked as a project manager for the Oregon Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) on both small and large environmental cleanup projects. During his time at DEQ, he served as project manager of the Portland Harbor Superfund Project, and as section manager of the Portland Harbor Section in DEQ’s NW Region Cleanup Program. Prior to that, Jim worked for the Portland Development Commission as its environmental coordinator and supported urban redevelopment projects. At GSI, Jim supports our Portland Harbor Superfund clients.
