Leah specializes in watershed management and natural resources planning for climate change and drought adaptation. She is experienced in restoration planning and implementation, biological monitoring, plant identification, and environmental impact assessment (CEQA). Prior to joining GSI, she worked as a grant writer for 6 years, successfully securing more than $7 million in grant funding for nonprofit youth conservation corps and drafting environmental impact analyses for habitat restoration and trail projects. She assists GSI with water rights applications and transfers, due diligence research, and Water Management and Conservation Plans (WMCPs).
