Rachel is skilled at conducting research and environmental investigations. She has worked on several large-scale contaminated sediment sites, primarily in urban waterways located in the Pacific Northwest. Rachel has conducted numerous technical evaluations involving the assessment of historic site uses, contaminant sources, and contaminant fate and transport.

An experienced technical writer and editor, Rachel translates complex technical and scientific concepts to a variety of audiences and stakeholders, including regulators, public community groups, and industry professionals. She uses her strong communication skills to develop reports, tables, and data visualizations that tell a story. She has a background in quality management, including the development and implementation of quality management plans (QMPs).
