Join us for an online technical workshop hosted by the Northeast Environmental Business Council (NEBC) on Wednesday, Mar. 10, at 11:30 am. This workshop is the first in a three-part series on water and environmental resiliency.
GSI's Ronan Igloria and Jason Melady will be leading the workshop with two of our clients at the City of Beaverton. The workshop will discuss the City's new non-potable water system—called the Beaverton Purple Pipe—that will use groundwater and treated stormwater for irrigation and streamflow enhancement. The Beaverton Purple Pipe capitalizes on previous investments made by the City in its successful aquifer storage and recovery (ASR) program to provide a cost-effective supply of water for irrigation that would otherwise be derived from the City’s limited drinking water supplies.
