Brad specializes in environmental geochemistry and the fate and transport of contaminants. His expertise includes designing and conducting fate and transport studies, environmental forensics investigations, and water quality assessments.

He applies and interprets geochemical and isotopic data to develop conceptual site models (CSMs) and reactive transport models (RTMs) that describe contaminant behavior in sediment and groundwater systems. He then uses these models to evaluate and predict the effectiveness of remedial alternatives, including amendment-based remedies, and investigate contaminant sources in support of litigation.

Brad’s expertise in geochemistry and reactive transport modeling is routinely applied to monitored natural attenuation (MNA) investigations and to geochemical compatibility evaluations for aquifer storage and recovery (ASR), managed aquifer recharge (MAR), and geologic carbon sequestration (GCS) projects.
