At GSI, we take health and safety very seriously—in the office, on the road, and out in the field. Our employee-run Safety Committee meets monthly to discuss health and safety issues in the workplace.

The committee is responsible for:

• Developing and updating our safety policy
• Investigating reportable workplace accidents
• Coordinating employee safety training
• Reviewing all site-specific Health and Safety Plans, which are required for field work or site visits
• Coordinating an annual earthquake and evacuation drill
• Conducting quarterly office inspections
• Overseeing the safe storage of hazardous substances
• Providing safety information to employees
